Ticker Symbol Preference

In the Personal Setting Section, it is possible configure the "Ticker Symbol Preference" as PIT or Electronic.
I searched to understand more throgh the guided Tour, but it was not available.

Does anybody know which are the differences and if which is the best one (Electronic is the default option if I am not wrong)

Hi,

Some futures are traded with a different name of contracts. It's only about you, what name you prefer. Old veterans prefer PIT ticker for example. Check columns Pit ticker & El. ticker in this table https://www.seasonalgo.com/system/info/commodities

Let's assume the following corn spread
BUY Corn December / SELL Corn September

With PIT tickers it will be CZ19-CU19
With El. tickers it will be ZC19-ZCU19
